Meet Bill

I’d like you to meet Bill.  He’s a survivor!

Bill was rescued during The Big Rescue of 2006.  He was living in a dog crate that was half filled with his own waste.  He had no food or water.  Poor Bill, and 7 other bunnies, were living in these horrible conditions.  With the rising temperatures that come with April, Bill and the others would surely have died from heat stroke.

Lucky for Bill, we arrived to whisk him away to safety at Bunny Castle.

Bill is a sweetie!  He loves when I sing to him.  He is a mixed breed bunny and his age is unknown.  He loves to play and throw his food bowl around his cage. Due to the lack of care in his early life, Bill does have some eye troubles.

How can you help Bill?  For a low donation of $20.00 per year you can sponsor him, or any bunny available at Bunny Castle.  Or, if you’d like, you can donate $30 to become a BCRR member along with sponsoring Bill.  We will always send you a picture of Bill and a personalized letter from him, as well.

All you have to do is go to our page at iGive.com (click here to find it) and follow the instructions.  You can shop at popular sites like Barnes & Noble, Staples, and The Gap, all places you probably shop already, and a portion of what you spend is donated to us directly.  That’s all you have to do!

Meet Fresca

Introducing Fresca, a mixed breed female bunny who loves her treats.

Fresca was part of our Big Rescue of 2006, where we rescued over 200 bunnies from terrible conditions.  Pregnant upon arrival, Fresca went on to deliver her little bundles of joy.  She is now spayed and in good health.  She enjoys getting off the wire floor of her cage by hanging out on her resting board, a ceramic tile that also cools her on hot days.

The Bunnies Need Help

Bunny Castle is in dire need of donations.  Many of our bunnies need medical attention for various reasons – from dental care to surgery for serious conditions like cancer!  And with over 200 bunnies in residence, we always need food and supplies.

Meet Barney and Oil

Meet Barney and Oil, two large, mixed breed bunnies.  I like to call them “The Big Boys.”  These guys were rescued in our “Big Rescue of 2006“.  They have been neutered and we think they are around 4 years old.

Barney and Oil are usually very mellow and are happy to chew on their chew toys, but they are not very fond of being handled.  For this reason they are not up for adoption, but they would love to be sponsored by you!
